RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


Provide support to end users on a variety of PC hardware, software and LAN/WAN issues. Identify and resolve technical problems. The WAN management involves 250+ networked devices and roughly 30 high-speed Internet connections with VPN connectivity. Implement & support computers and network devices in local and branch offices. Respond to telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support utilizing the highest level of customer service. Wherever possible, improve efficiency through the better use of technology.

Candidate must have 2+ years of professional working experience and an understanding in some or most of the following areas: MS Windows XP Pro, MS Office Software, MS Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Exchange Server 2003, Group Policy, VPN’s, Router management, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN infrastructure, supporting Internet access related issues and most facets of PC hardware/software troubleshooting.

REQUIREMENTS:


* Experience with Windows 2003 & Exchange 2003 Server
* Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
* Clear understanding of LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Switches & Routers
* Microsoft Office XP & 2003 applications and support

Client is seeking a Web Application Developer to develop and maintain products using various Web technologies in the ColdFusion and Java environments. Storage Administrator (also referred to, in the industry as, SAN Engineer, SAN Architect)
Need heavy experience. We have 150+ terabytes of storage.

COMMENTS: We need a person willing to be very flexible. Initially - this position will require tremendous flexibility (for example, they may find out on a Friday that they need to stay late Friday night. Or they may find out on a Thursday that they need to work on Sunday night.) But we expect some of that spontaneity to subside over time.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Storage Engineer is the technical expert involved in planning, implementing, administering, and managing storage networking and operations. This role is responsible for storage planning and forecasting; architecting storage layouts and networks; planning storage connectivity; storage product evaluations; data access performance tuning; data archiving (including all storage tiers and tape solutions).
• Provide technical leadership for storage-related projects, including switch upgrades and installations, disk consolidations, preventive maintenance during regularly scheduled maintenance windows in accordance with internal change management processes and procedures.
• Responsible for the design, implementation, management and operational support of large complex storage and backup and recovery systems and their related systems.
• Architect, implement and maintain complex enterprise storage area networks and data backup and recovery systems primarily those from EMC, IBM, Hitachi Data Systems, NetApp, Symantec, and StorageTek, as well as Cisco fibre channel switches.
• Provision and allocate storage between storage arrays and server assets (Windows and Unix Based), assignment of RAID levels, LUN configurations, and file system creation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated enterprise storage networking skills in architecting, implementing, monitoring, and administrating multi-tier storage area networks, file-based storage solutions, information lifecycle management, structured and unstructured data archiving, and tape system administration.
• Knowledge of SAN technologies and concepts including fabric and host switches and routers, bus adapters, and interconnect hardware and cabling
• Knowledge of fiber channel and SCSI protocols, RAID sets, disk drives, and data striping and mirroring options
• Familiarity and experience with data replication, tape backup, data archiving, and disaster recovery concepts and procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Client is seeking a motivated Operations Analyst to perform installation, upgrades, troubleshooting and general administration of all CLIENT specific applications. Additional responsibilities include;

- Assisting the CLIENT Architecture team in capacity planning
- Documenting requirements for the monitoring of CLIENT specific applications
- Collaborating with developer and server teams to identify the root cause of application issues.
- Developing scripts used for application processing, SAN replication and application startup/shutdown automation
