As a Software Developer on the Refined Fuels team you will be a key member developing leading edge software solutions in ASP.NET and C# technologies for the Petroleum industry. There is also an online fuels trading platform that provides real-time data and access to "live" prices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years experience in application development required.
• 4+ years experience in one of the following required: ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio.
• Experience in Oracle or SQL Server required.
• Expert experience in JavaScript and HTML required.
• Experience with AJAX a plus.

Client is seeking a Web Application Developer to develop and maintain products using various Web technologies in the ColdFusion and Java environments. The chosen candidate will participate in the improvement of existing products as well as, the creation and design of new products for the CLIENT Web Hosting product platform. The Web Hosting development group will focus on enhancing the CLIENT specific content and functionality on our Agricultural based customer websites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Storage Administrator (also referred to, in the industry as, SAN Engineer, SAN Architect)
Need heavy experience. We have 150+ terabytes of storage.

EQUIPMENT USED: EMC, IBM SVC, HDS, Cisco MDS

COMMENTS: We need a person willing to be very flexible. Initially - this position will require tremendous flexibility (for example, they may find out on a Friday that they need to stay late Friday night. Or they may find out on a Thursday that they need to work on Sunday night.) But we expect some of that spontaneity to subside over time.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Storage Engineer is the technical expert involved in planning, implementing, administering, and managing storage networking and operations. This role is responsible for storage planning and forecasting; architecting storage layouts and networks; planning storage connectivity; storage product evaluations; data access performance tuning; data archiving (including all storage tiers and tape solutions).
• Provide technical leadership for storage-related projects, including switch upgrades and installations, disk consolidations, preventive maintenance during regularly scheduled maintenance windows in accordance with internal change management processes and procedures.
• Responsible for the design, implementation, management and operational support of large complex storage and backup and recovery systems and their related systems.
• Architect, implement and maintain complex enterprise storage area networks and data backup and recovery systems primarily those from EMC, IBM, Hitachi Data Systems, NetApp, Symantec, and StorageTek, as well as Cisco fibre channel switches.
• Provision and allocate storage between storage arrays and server assets (Windows and Unix Based), assignment of RAID levels, LUN configurations, and file system creation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated enterprise storage networking skills in architecting, implementing, monitoring, and administrating multi-tier storage area networks, file-based storage solutions, information lifecycle management, structured and unstructured data archiving, and tape system administration.
• Knowledge of SAN technologies and concepts including fabric and host switches and routers, bus adapters, and interconnect hardware and cabling
• Knowledge of fiber channel and SCSI protocols, RAID sets, disk drives, and data striping and mirroring options
• Familiarity and experience with data replication, tape backup, data archiving, and disaster recovery concepts and procedures.
• Familiarity and experience with SAN performance monitoring, tuning, and hierarchical, multi-level data storage management.
• Familiarity and experience with SAN problem troubleshooting, tracking, and resolution.
• Familiarity and experience with managing, tracking, and updating SAN hardware microcode, firmware, and software patches.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for maintaining and supporting critical business systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution, enhancement releases & small projects, managing end user expectations and IT deliverables.
• To be able to investigate requirements, model processes and data, analyze business problems or processes, and determine how the application of technology might create business system improvement (with some supervision, either individually or as part of a team).
• To be able to project manage IT initiatives with responsibilities for tracking schedule, cost, and quality for all or some phases of small to mid-size system releases and/or projects.
• To be able to effectively apply standards, methods, and processes to produce quality documentation of both a technical and descriptive nature as required by the Project Framework.
• To be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Strong work ethic required as well as the ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are mandatory as this position will work with all levels of end users.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required. Knowledge of refining or other aspects of the petroleum business a strong plus.
• Understanding and practice of systems development lifecycle planning: project origination and economics, requirements gathering, conceptual design, functional design, construction/unit testing, integration and system testing and implementation.
• 2 years prior software design and development experience is required.
• Experience in the petroleum business or accounting processes.
• Extensive software development with the focus on data modeling, system analysis, and conceptual system design.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor degree from an accredited school.

EDUCATION PREFERRED:

 Bachelor degree in MIS/CIS field preferred from an accredited school.
